My Big Bark Yard offers daycare and boarding!
Meet and Greet
A ‘meet and greet’ is required before accepting any new client(s). I like to meet your dog(s), show you my place, and make sure it’s a great fit for everyone! Any signs of aggression will not be tolerated, as keeping all of my clients and my kids safe is my top priority. Your dog(s) must be at least 4 months of age and current on vaccines.
After the ‘meet and greet’, if your dog is approved and daycare or boarding is scheduled, please visit the “Forms” page to review, complete, and submit the Boarding Agreement. The signed agreement and proof of vaccines must be received prior to the first booked stay and will be placed on file for future stays.
I require a day of daycare (at a minimum) prior to any dog’s first overnight stay here.
I require an overnight stay prior to a dog’s first time boarding for an extended period of time (3 nights or more). This gives me and your dog(s) a chance to get to know each other, helps them feel more comfortable here and makes their upcoming stay go a lot more smoothly. It also teaches them that you do come back!
If your dog is staying here, whether for daycare or boarding, I always send daily pictures and updates so you can rest assured that your furry family member is doing well and having fun! I know how much my clients appreciate this and I enjoy doing it! The last thing I want is for you to be worrying about your dog(s) and not enjoying your time away.
Daycare
I offer a dog park-like environment where your dog can play, socialize, and be loved on while you’re at work or away for the day. Dogs need this interaction and socialization is SO important, especially for young dogs. They are pack animals and learn so much from each other! My yard is fully fenced and gated with an acre of area to run and play. I strive to send your dog home tired and happy!
Boarding
I offer boarding out of my home; no kennels. Your dog will become a member of our family while you are away! I am as consistent as possible with whatever your dog is used to at home. Plenty of playtime is had during the day (unless your dog is older and likes to nap, I can arrange that too!) so your furry family member is nice and tired at night. Sleeping arrangements are whatever you and your dog need – if they sleep on the couch, they can sleep on mine! I only crate your dog if you bring a crate and that is what your dog is used to.
